I think there's one word to describe this week's playlist: beachy. It's sure to, at the very least, get your toes tapping (which is a nice change of pace from last week's mellow playlist if I do say so myself).
This playlist is loaded with ska, reggae, and just a little bit of funk - tested by me and summer-approved. If you're working this fine Monday all you'll have to do is throw this playlist on and close your eyes to be transported to a tropical resort south of the border.
The first song on the playlist - We Tryin To Stay Alive - has been my jam since I first heard it in Shameless (Season 7, Episode 12) a couple weeks ago. Last.fm says I've listened to it 34 times over the past month...so I've basically listened to it every day since discovering it (haha).
I'm picturing white sand, palm trees, ocean waves, and a Malibu+Pineapple in a fancy glass.
